Off to Martha's

No, we aren't going to visit Martha Stewart, we are going to Martha's Vineyard, one of the two large islands off the coast of Massachusetts.   Nantucket gets all the press these days but Martha's Vineyard is more to my taste.  Looks like Althea's been having fun on the island as she has a shop review for us.  Click on the hyperlink in the article for a brief description of the shop and hours with plenty of pictures to enjoy.

More Petei Sources

I finally made it to Woodlawn's needlework exhibit and enjoyed every minute! I'm working on my report but this will take me several weeks as I have deadlines to meet first.  I also hit the shops and saw several of the Alice in Wonderland series and other Petei canvases at Waste Knot, so if you are looking for one of these pieces, talk to the staff there to see what they still have. Prices are around $20-25 if I remember correctly, depending on the size of the canvas you want.

The French Knot reports that although they have all the stitch guides available for the Santas they have offered over the years, the kit inventory is very low.  They still have these in stock--Gypsy (2012), Kiss Me (2011), French Bread (2011) and Cacti  (2011) Santas.  Their 2012 Santa club is on hold while we wait to see if Petei is able to sell her line.

I think there are several Petei canvases lurking in Designer's Desk's Bargain Basement.  Isn't that Tweedledum and Tweedlede from the Alice in Wonderland set?

There are Santas and an angel here.

There are also new Petei canvases available at Canvases Be Gone.  Dale mentioned them in her last blog posting.  Click on the link and you'll find canvases from the Peter Pan, nutcracker, and kings and queens series plus several miscellaneous canvases.

I should mention since I linked to Canvases Be Gone that their blog, although listed in my blog list below, never shows up in the feeds there.  You'll need to either bookmark the blog or use RSS readers to get updates.  Blog doesn't take feeds from blogs that are part of a website instead of being created through free software like WordPress or Blogger.  I have no idea why but you don't want to miss out on Dale's postings.
