More New Tools From Elsewhere

I have more new tools you might find useful.  Janet Perry reviews Gail Callahan's Color Grid, created to help knitters with their colors.  The second link is to Gail's website, The Kangaroo Dyer.

The Stitcherista is using counting pins to mark areas on her canvas.  She doesn't specify which Etsy seller she got hers from, but it appears to be TJB Designs (second link) which also sells beaded scissor fobs, needle threaders, and stitch pickers.

Thread Cards, Anyone?

If you have organizing stash on your mind, you might want to get some thread cards from Nimble Needle in New Jersey. They are perfect for keeping that partial skein tidy in your stash.   I have to admit I save my empty Rainbow Gallery cards and my Kreinik spools to rewind other threads myself, so this is definitely something I am interested in.  Thanks for the review, Danielle!

Friday Finishing: Flowers

It's about time we saw some flowers around here! The flower beads on one pillow are just perfect, but all Ridgewood's finished pieces are great this week.

Here's another use of a flower bead, perfect on the belt of a Little Black Dress.

This reminds me, Suzie at Enriched Stitch is starting a stitch-a-long of a Needle Deeva birdhouse garden canvas, with lots of flowers and spring things.  If you are interested in playing along, contact the shop.
