News from the World of Needlepoint UPDATED

There's been a delay in the publication of the new edition of Jo I. Christensen's Needlepoint Book. Instead of coming out this fall, it won't be published until the spring of 2015. I have heard it is going to be in hardback, not paperback, which probably accounts for the delay.

UPDATE:  According to Amazon, the hardback version is still coming out the end of November 2014.  The Kindle edition will be ready in the spring.  In other words, who knows when it will be available?!

In other news, Ehrman Tapestry just announced they are reissuing the vegetable series from Kaffe Fassett due to popular demand.  You can see them as well as the similar fruit series here.

New Alphabet Chart Generator

If you have ever wanted to stitch a special phrase on blank canvas but didn't have the skills or confidence to graph out the letters yourself, this site is for you.   The lettering is around 15 threads high and in cursive without the ability to change the font but still this may be helpful.  I saw this on Facebook but naturally I can't remember who posted it.  Thanks, mystery person!

Here's another similar tool.  Only a few fonts are available for free as this is a preview of their software.

Ok, let's see....  How many letters are in "It's not a tiara, I just bedazzled my horns"?

LOL
