I chose today's Canvas of the Day while thinking about the folks browsing the Seminar Bookshop and Seminar Store and then heading out to visit all the great local Texas stitching shops. Isn't it appropriate? It's from Labors of Love.

Our intrepid reporter Vicky has arrived in San Antonio and she has won ribbons!

The winners will be officially announced in the Seminar Newsletter which has been put online by ANG. Here's the first issue. There will be a delay before each issue goes up since it has to be digitized and posted by ANG officials between their chores running Seminar. Hopefully the second and third issues will be posted shortly.

ANG has updated their Seminar photos page with lots of new eye candy. (The class pieces they are showing off are for next year's seminar in Philadelphia.) Don't forget to check periodically to see glimpses of our friends who are there.

Stars Update UPDATED
The Spinster Stitcher has posted a progress photo of her red, white and blue version of Stars. Lovely!

She's really making great progress on it, too. Here's a second photo.

The version Liz is stitching is much more earthy but just a beautiful.

Jan is also at the same stitching point, but with red that makes her greens brighter than Liz's. Fascinating!

UPDATE: Liz finally figured out what was wrong with her version of Vivian Leigh. Success!

This is a wonderful project. I hope I can get back to it this winter.
