Sales fever is spreading, egged on by two Texas shops that have plans to explode our credit cards and empty our bank accounts with their great sales. Chandail is having Winter Sale Days from January 3-14 on in-stock items. Threads, accessories and in-stock canvases are thirty percent off, special order canvases are twenty percent off, books, stands and lights are fifteen percent off, and previously marked sale canvases are now half off. Kits, monthly clubs and finishing are not on sale and you do have to pull your own threads.

Chaparral is closed until January 9 for inventory and painting the walls, but when they reopen on the 9th, they will have a Denise DeRusha Designs trunk show with 15 percent off. Starting the week of January 16th, they'll have their January Sale with all in stock threads, canvases and supplies twenty percent off (with a few exceptions). You can do special orders at the sale price as long as you spend $100 per designer. Make sure you visit the sale room for sixty percent off items.

Merry Cat-mouse!
Ruth Schmuff has a new whimsical holiday cat design that is beautifully finished and perfect for that cat lover on your 2012 Christmas list. Even though Christmas is over, you may want to ask for your local shop to order this at the January TNNA show. After all, Christmas happens each and every December.
