Melissa Shirley has posted photographs of her newest pieces on her website. Everything is from Debbie Mumm (Melissa Shirley Designs has adopted her artwork to needlepoint) except for the Texas basket which is Melissa's design.

Quail Run not only has a shop, they distribute canvases. Here are some of the new items they are taking to Baltimore. They promise updates from Market, too, and they delivered. The second link below is about the SharonG class they took.

Morning Meeting Redeux
The new "Have You Seen This Canvas?" tab has turned up some information about the Morning Meeting canvas that at least two people are interested in acquiring. But you'll have to head to the tab to see what I found out. I'm trying to encourage people to check that area for updates once a week. I can't promise to have any but this week I do. I've also added a new article to the Chilly Hollow Stitch Guides blog. You can ride the magic carpet there. Just click on the photo in the right hand column....
I expect to have an update tonight about all the goings on at the TNNA Baltimore meeting. Folks are there already, setting up their booths or taking classes and generally having fun. If there are updates, I'll post them tonight after supper. Stay tuned!
To add eye candy and links to this article, Needlepoint.com has added a new feature to their website--they have a page of autumn-themed designs to get you in the mood for cooler weather.

New LizArt
Liz Morrow has just announced two new designs on her blog. LizArt does bargello designs with a twist, and the two new patterns have bargello backgrounds with a cat or an orchid as the central design element. There's a link to Liz's website to buy the charts, too.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Baseball fans will love the two mini socks that Diane had Kathy Schenkel create. Facebook users will love how she used to social media to jog her memory about them!

RIbbons in the Air UPDATED
Some days everyone is talking about the same thing! Today ribbons are in the air. No sooner did I hear about two new ribbons from SJ Designs than Orna Willis posted about a great ribbon source.
Palma just bought narrow satin ribbon from SJ Designs, better known for their beads. Having loaded up on beads from Susan Johnson several times, I can vouch for her customer service and superb beads.

Palma also bought a metallic thread I'd never heard of called Gala, and promises to report back on how it stitches up. Looks like it only comes in silver and gold.

As soon as I found the above links, Orna Willis posted this--if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go check out Renaissance Ribbons!

UPDATE: See Palma's comments in the Comment section below.
