Needle Nicely just turned turned 500! Actually neither the shop nor Mary Agnes Ruddy Cussen the owner are actually five hundred, (OW! Mary Agnes threw a shoe at me!!!) but the Needle Nicely blog just added its five hundredth blog posting. Congratulations! Mary Agnes sums up a bit of the history of the shop and its blog here. As always, it is a fun read.

This was published in 1900 by Penelope, an obvious pseudonym, and is out of copyright. Hopefully crewel lovers will enjoy a browse and those who are curious about crewel stitches will enjoy the lovely color photos.
