O'jishi's background is about 75% finished. I am trying to get as much done as possible during the holiday season as by now the alternating cashmere pairs are second nature. I got a lot of stitching time in before holiday chores took priority this weekend.
Hope everyone isn't as busy as me and that any holiday preparations you are doing go quickly and easily.

I love the elegant simplicity of the background. Are you still thinking of the bamboo stitch for a border?
ReplyDeleteElegant simplicity-that describes it perfectly. You can see the stitching, but it takes nothing away from the painting.
ReplyDeleteIt looks to me like you haven't stitched the tent stitches. Are you going to stitch them? I really like the openness of the cashmere with out the tent stitches.
Ladies, I haven' t decided about the middle tent stitches yet. I'm thinking about it, but haven't made up my mind.
