Jane, this is magnificent! I can imagine how beautiful it is person. Your mother will love this. And, if it doesn't go with her decor, send it over to Critter Cove. :-)
DandL, I love it already, even though I HATE finishing. It looks good so far. Today I turn the finishing right side out, stuff it, and sew up the bottom, then check the dowel to see if it needs more staining. Stay tuned!
Thanks for the nice compliments, folks. Palma, this is going to be a wall hanging for Mom's apartment door. All the other old ladies have floral wreaths which she says look like funeral wreaths so I stitched this for her to have instead.
Beautifully done, Jane. Your mom is a lucky woman. I'm still chuckling over her attitude about door wreaths! I hope you'll keep us posted as you do the finishing. That's always a help as we work to learn stitching inside and out.

Thanks, Judy. I'm glad you like it, but sadly my mother will love it. Cats and gardens are two of her favorite things, her grandkids being the third.

Jane, this is awesome, so beautiful. Your mother will be thrilled. Are you finishing it as a pillow?
