Now that 120 years have passed since the Borden double murder, new information is starting to appear from closed files and personal records. I'm sorry I live too far away to make a return trip to the Historical Society. As William Roughead said, "...one cannot have too much of a good murder."

The quotation in the title is from A Private Disgrace, by Victoria Lincoln, which has always been my favorite book on the Lizzie Borden case.

In later years Lizzie used to summer with her sister in my hometown in N.H. I always found this story very intriguing.
