For the Toy Chest

Over the mountain from where I live there are a sizable group of sampler stitchers. Among them is the incomparable Betsy Morgan, who is a superb teacher and embroider.   Lately Betsy has been designing and teaching etuis and other fancy boxes filled with little tools for your needlework supplies.  She's come up with something very interesting for her Toy Chest etui--a painter's box to hold your needle threader and needles.

It's a toy a lot of folks would love to have under their Christmas tree.  To see the rest of the set, go here and here and here.

  1. I love the etuis, but I suspect it's because of all the little toys that are tucked inside!

  2. I love etuis period. Something about how they open and reveal the tools. But the toy chest from Betsy is particularly charming, isn't it?

  3. So fantastic, it makes me want to stitch the toy chest and all the toys. I also want to do her retired Maresie-Doats. My horses would love it!

  4. Judy, Betsy is a horse lover, too. I hope you are able to get the retired Maresie-Doats piece to stitch for your horses and Betsy's.
