Needlepoint.com has posted a series of articles on their blog about stitching Robin King's Creepy Creatures Halloween ornaments. Those are the candy-corn shaped designs from Needle Deeva. There are tips for stitching each character as well as a review of Robin's guides, so I posted an article on the Chilly Hollow Stitch Guides blog yesterday that tells you where to find this information. Here's the direct link, but you can always head to the CH Stitch Guides blog by clicking on the magic carpet image in the right hand column here.

And of course if you are at the CH Stitch Guides blog, you can return to the CH Needlepoint Adventure (aka Blog) by clicking on the magic carpet photo on that site. Clever, huh? LOL

My Heart Belongs to Football
Ok, not really. I enjoy stitching with sports on the tv in the background but I don't really follow any teams closely. But if you do, or someone you stitch for does, you'll want to see the college football canvas slide show on the Bristly Thistle blog. I think the bracelets are really cool and a good way to show team support without looking like an idiot. (My college team's colors are orange with white accents. Ever seen anyone in an orange suit, orange cowboy boots and orange cowboy hat? SHUDDER.)

If hearts are more your thing than football, how about the very newest designs from Raymond Crawford--tiny checkerboard hearts with bows? You can be fashionable and fun at the same time.

You know, my favorite thing about needlepoint painted canvases is that there's something for everyone.
