Jackie's Got News

After reading the October newsletter for Amy Bunger's shop, Jackie emailed Amy herself asking for hints on the new Home Study piece Amy will do for next year.  Amy dropped a few hints and said it was ok for Jackie to share, which she did on Facebook, and I'm repeating what Jackie found out here.

Amy said (as quoted by Jackie):  "The designer is a SHE and it is not a holiday piece".Amy kindly went on to say the Designer is working on the final touches and will present it to Amy."

Stay tuned, Amy Fans.

Kudos for Jackie for asking and for sharing the news!

Charting Among Friends UPDATED

There's exciting news for fans of counted canvaswork--the Fab Four teaching team of Suzanne Howren, Tony Minieri, Beth Robertson and Meredith Willett didn't just teach at Seminar, they created two charted designs for our stitching pleasure!  They call them Just a Few Stitches Among Friends.  There are two charts, "Creek Music" and "St. Leonard's Dance."

Vicky, who just got awarded five enabling points, also lists the shops which have the charts in stock for your purchasing pleasure.  Scarlet Thread has the charts and good photos of them.  Just follow the links in her blog.

UPDATE:  Scarlet Thread is sold out of the charts but they have created photos of each of the colorways so you can drool over those until they have more charts in stock.

If counting isn't your thing, I have a special extra treat for you.   Kimberly has designed a new painted canvas of a Christmas angel.  She's a gorgeous redhead in Southwestern colors and meant to be a tree top angel, but really she would look perfect as a stand up or even hanging from your door during the holidays.  Needle Works says, "Angie Angel from Kimberly Smith available through the Needle Works. 18ct. and 9 inches tall. $56.00..Call the store to order 512-451-6931"

Whether painted canvas or charts are your favorites, talented people are thinking about you!
