Bedecked and Beadazzled has a new online tool called the Thread Finder.

Basically you go to the Thread Finder starting page (link below) and answer a few questions. Then you will get some suggestions of threads to try. The suggestions tell you how many strands (or plies from a strand) to use on the size canvas you have indicated and there are links to online shopping for each brand recommended. Note that not all the threads are up on the website yet, so some of the links don't work. But this is a new feature and a work in progress.

It's a fun way to come up with new ideas for threads you never considered—or that your local shop doesn't carry. Kudos to Ruth Schmuff for making thread shopping more fun than ever.
