Today's the last day of the One Million Page Views Giveaway. Tell me whether you like the Haunted House (Rebecca Wood) or the Tassel Wreath (dede Odgen) better and I'll enter you in the drawing for that canvas. This is geared towards stitchers with some experience who are a bit nervous about painted canvases.
The contest ends at midnight tonight and the winners will be announced sometime tomorrow after R draws names for us.

Keeping Thread Organized for Travel
Labels:
crewel,
Royal School of Needlework
Kathy's getting organized for a trip to London this summer to take a course in crewel embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework. She wanted some way to keep her crewel wool organized while she was in class and traveling to and fro so she came up with this fabulous thread roll. She's posted instructions on making your own if you happen to be traveling and using skeins that are all the same diameter. No way will she be known at the Royal School as that American with thread everywhere after this!

Here's the Royal School's website, just to get an idea of what Kathy's going to be doing and where.
