Not only did I finish the last custom stitch guide in the queue this morning, I also rewrote the articles about the stitch guide writers Robin King and Cynthia Thomas on the CH Stitch Guides blog. I hope you have fun reading Cynthia's new blog and checking out all the new guides and classes available from Robin.

I'll have more stitch guide information coming later this week. Meanwhile, keep an eye on Melissa Shirley's website. She is adding a section about stitch guide writers to her list of official available guides. It isn't ready yet but it won't be long now.

I'm writing this on July 25 even though it will post on Blog later. Will you excuse me? I'm going to go scream since Christmas is just five months from now....

Fool The Engineer With Needlepoint

I very much enjoyed the short article from Needlepoint of View (Pepita Needlepoint's blog) about engineers and needlepoint. It got me thinking.
http://needlepointofview.com/2011/07/15/attention-engineers-try-needlepoint/
Janet Perry's found an iPhone stitch it yourself kit. Would an engineer with a smart phone be tempted to try by this?
http://www.nuts-about-needlepoint.com/spiff-up-your-iphone
Or would an engineer be tempted by classic trompe l'oeil as stitched in Ruth Schmuff's class?

Whichever route you take, go tempt an engineer with needlepoint, will you?
