The Beach House

Brenda shows off the little beach umbrella piece the Delaware Seashore Chapter of ANG stitched for Justin's Beach House as a community project.  ANG chapters do lots of wonderful stitching for their local communities and organizations.  Keep an eye on the article that lists these things in the back of Needle Pointers magazine if you are an ANG member and get their magazine.

17th Century Techniques for the 21st Century

Mary Corbet clued me in to a video starring Alison Cole demonstrating 17th Century embroidery techniques. You may not be stitching any reproduction embroidery but you can bet some of these techniques will work for your needlepoint!

Alison Cole is famous for her goldwork and books, by the way.  If you have time to have your socks blown off, check her website.
