No One Was Hurt

Sign of the Arrow in Missouri was closed for a bit this week after a car sailed through their door and window!  Thankfully no one was hurt in this escapade.

They are open again with plywood securing the shop until repairs can be made.

Quail Run Newsletter for August

Hurrah!  The August newsletter for Quail Run is now available! Besides listing the upcoming classes and events, talking about various ideas for belt canvas finishing (besides belts), you can read interesting ideas for stitching leaves and flowers, and see some spectacular finished items from shop customers.  My favorite piece is the lady on page 14.  Check out her spiral of hair and the complex stitches that make up her eyes, plus she has a real necklace and earrings!  The newsletter profiles Facets, Petite Facets and Wired Facets from Kreinik, too.

Visiting The Village

Sue's been on vacation in the Dakotas and she takes us along to visit Village Needleworks in Omaha where she stopped on the way home.  Want to read about the first half of her trip?  Just click on the blue title "Travel Blog:  South Dakota" at the top of the article and you can read that, too.
