The place to find shops that sell needlepoint shops seems to be NeedleTravel.com. Their online database allows you to mark the sorts of stitching shops you are interested in and what state(s) you need information on. I think it would be wise to call the shop before you go to make sure they will be open when you can get there, however. Small businesses don't always have the time or personnel to update their website especially when there is a family emergency or bad weather.

By the way, they have a travel guide paperback you can purchase if that's more convenient for you. Just toss it in the glove compartment of your car and off you go!
