Since I'm not Jewish I don't know if "ecclesiastical" is the right term for the prayer shawl and cap that Kristen designed and stitched for her grandson, but it is a grand term for grand items. I hope we get to see the finished tallis bag as well once it is made up to join the vestments set.

New needlepointers probably know Cynthia from her new book, Noses, Roses and Other Fun Stuff, but folks who have enjoyed needlepoint for a while know Cynthia from her zillions of stitch guides. She and Brenda Hart and Amy Bunger were the first stitch guide writers I ever heard of. Like Brenda and Amy, Cynthia also teaches occasionally. Her work is gorgeous!
