We've just heard that SuZy Murphy, author of some of the best stitch books I own, has died. She was also known for her teaching and even worked a few fun stitch guides.
Suzy Murphy passed away on Sunday, September 1 and is survived by her husband Randy. Many of us know and love Suzy's needlepoint books. The service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 9, at the First Congregational Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Suzy and her husband were both very active in Cheyenne Young Life. Donations may be made in her name to them at P.O. Box 1062, Cheyenne, WY 82003.
Our condolences to her family and close friends. She'll be missed.

My godmother told me that needlepointed bridge tables and bridge table covers were all the rage in the 1960s when everyone had bridge parties. When we talked about this in the late 1980s she wondered where they all disappeared to.
Now Cher has turned up one with a hunt theme at an estate sale. Nice find!
