Carol and I've been talking about threads for needlepoint recently and bemoaning the lack of supplies in her area. She's going to hit up the local knitting shops to see if she can find anything suitable to use in her next NP projects. Before she goes, I hope she gets a chance to read this informative article from Janet Perry on using knitting yarns in NP.

UPDATE: Judy pointed out this article by Barbara Elmore on knitting yarns in needlepoint. Thanks, Judy!

Donna Raided The EGA Bookstore
Labels:
counted thread,
EGA,
Seminar 2011
Anyone who collects stitching books will want to read Donna's report on the books and kits she picked up at the EGA Seminar bookstore in Florida. She's even included a link to a peak inside Amy Mitten's new book. I am a big fan of Amy's faded cotton threads so I enjoyed looking at her fabulous book animation, even though counted thread and I are a bad combination due to my inability to count to ten consistently. Thanks, Donna!
