Photos from San Antonio (ANG Seminar)

ANG has started posting photos from San Antonio's Seminar on their website.  Here's the link.  My favorites are the closeups of the award ribbons, the centers of which are stitched buttons with Texas or other themes.  There are photos of various folks getting things set up and a few glimpses of the pieces at the Exhibit being put into place for judging and then viewing by the lucky folks at Seminar.  ANG says this site will be updated each night.

The Ring Bearer's Pillow

I've updated the CH Stitch Guides blog with a brief article about the new guide for the beautiful ring bearer pillow seen in the July/August 2011 Needlepoint News.  The design is by ABS Designs and the guide written by Sue Dulle.  Here's the link where you can see a lovely photo of the finished piece.

A Source for Danish Flower Thread UPDATED

I just ran across mention of a place to find Danish flower thread, which is no longer available in the U.S. as far as I know.

Here is the direct link to their website.  This should come up as the English version. (I hope!)  Apparently the colors are the same but with different numbers and new shades.

UPDATE:  Randi says that this shop in Connecticut carries Danish flower thread.  Hurrah!  A U.S. source!  Thanks very much, Randi.
