Edwardian Needle Reborn

The Edwardian Needle is reopening today after moving to a new location--
The new address is 390 Fairfield Road, Fairfield New Jersey
Phone 973-743-9833

They also have two trunk shows to celebrate--Raymond Crawford and Joy Juarez.  Right now their website isn't up to date with the new contact information so I haven't added it here.

Go enjoy the new space if you can!

Pangea as a Tote Bag (More Finishing Friday)

Thanks to Sue Dulle, I heard about Kurdy Biggs' latest design, Pangea, made up as a tote bag and stitcher's tool wallet. It's magnificent!

Here is the charted design in its three colorways devised by Kurdy herself.  Her work is astounding in person.  Photos don't capture the complexity or show the crystals and beads she uses.

By the way, the Needleart Nut is stitching Kurdy's Mariposa butterfly if you want to see how the design develops.  Pat is doing hers on a custom dyed canvas.

I think you'll find Linda's little witch standup darling!

This Spring Crazy Quilt design from Kelly Clark is magnificent as a bolster pillow.

Enriched Stitch just got their class model back from the finisher and it's amazing!  They also list their finishing deadlines for Christmas, just in case this is your local shop.

Linda got some spectacular finishing back for Christmas.  Lovely!  (But the grandson is lovelier by far.)

Finally, Sheena shows us what the perfect frame brings to a piece with examples from Art Etc. Picture Framing in Cleveland.
