Breaking News: Juli Poitras Retires!

Juli Poitras (the artistic genius behind JP Needlepoint) has retired!

Christine Kesten of CBK has bought the line, so JP Needlepoint is still available, even while Juli herself wanders off into the sunset, followed by her adorable dog.

Japanese Needle Sharpeners

While looking for something else, I stumbled across these adorable Japanese ceramic needle sharpeners.  They are made by a small company called Kawara, have magnets inside that polish the needles, and I think they are distributed by Cohana who sell beautiful Japanese enameled scissors (second link below).  Four colors are available:  white, blue, green and yellow.
