Goldwork

Since I've already mentioned crewel this morning, how about I send you to Christa's blog to read about her goldwork class with Michele Roberts?  Michele does gorgeous goldwork but you have to see it in person to appreciate how 3-D traditional English style goldwork is and how lovely it looks.  There is nothing more beautiful than gold metal threads arranged in a pleasing design!

Kathy at the Royal School

Kathy is taking a crewel course at the Royal School in Hampton Court Palace.  And she's blogging about it!  Scroll down until you find Day One (July 6) and start to read all about how crewel embroidery is done the traditional way.
