Jolly Red is participating in a cancer fund raiser in England run by McMillian called World's Biggest Coffee Morning. They are relatively rural so they have created a new design called "Coffee with Friends, " a portion of the sales of which go to McMillian's charity.

Here's a better look at Coffee with Friends. You can buy this as a standalone canvas or kitted with wool threads. A portion of either sale goes to fight cancer.

Here is last year's fund raiser. I am not certain it's available any more as it doesn't seem to be listed on the Jolly Red website.

Ann-Marie of Beautiful Stitches has just had a birthday and what does she do? She gives US a present! In case you didn't know, Ann-Marie is a teacher and designer of counted pieces from Western Australia.
http://beautifulstitches.com.au/another-year-another-birthday/
Yes, she's published a free chart of her lovely "Autumn Fireworks" for you to download as a PDF file.

Then you can run wild in your stash, pulling an overdye and three other solid threads that use (or compliment) the overdye's colors. Counted canvas workers everywhere are rejoicing!
Happy birthday, Ann-Marie! Thanks.
