The Needle Works has new scissors fobs in from Bead Soup. I love the little black cat one. Look at those eyes!

By the way, by the time this publishes I will be hard at work at the local polling place and won't be home until 9 p.m. at the earliest. (In Virginia poll work starts at 5 a.m. and lasts until all the ballots cast match with the number of voters checked in, all the paperwork is signed, the ballot machines and the laptops are shut down and sealed, and all the tables, chairs are put away. During that time, poll workers are not allowed to leave the polling place.) So if you wrote me, don't expect an answer until tomorrow.
Go vote!

SJ Designs posted on Facebook today about an exhibit of knit and crocheted flowers at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden which looks to be worth seeing. The flowers and leaves have some embroidery on them, and the finished products are very realistic.

The exhibit will be there until January 22nd, so there is plenty of time to visit before Holiday Madness begins if you live in the area or will be visiting there this fall. Thanks for the tip, Susan!
