Countdown to TNNA

Amy Bunger promises to update her Facebook page and her shop website all during the TNNA show at Columbus. She's already posted a photo of their luggage arriving at the hotel on her FB page and the website has a countdown clock to the opening of the TNNA hall.   If you have a FB account, you can find photos and comments at Amy's Golden Strand.

I understand that tomorrow is the day they set up their booths in an un-air conditioned hall.  The AC doesn't come on until the official opening tomorrow night!

Packing for Columbus UPDATED

Everyone is packing to head to Columbus, Ohio for the trade show. Robin King has to pack an extra big suitcase as she will be going on to teach at What's the Point? in Dublin, Ohio after her class at TNNA and her work in the Needle Deeva booth are done.

She's also making banners and publicity sheets and putting the new canvases on the Needle Deeva site (follow the link).

She'll be joined by Vicky DeAngelis in the Needle Deeva booth.  Vicky's busy making kits, too.  She's counting crystals.

Over in Texas Hill Country, more class prep is underway and there are things to see once Cynthia Thomas arrives.  Besides three classes, she has a set of Melissa Shirley Twelve Days of Christmas angels to write stitch guides for and there is a certain Ghoul pillow at Shelly Tribbey's booth to admire.

Sure wish I was going, too!

The Bargello Garden and Other Treats

Scarlet Thread has posted a photo of the newest Jeff Kulick design, his 2011 Woodlawn blue ribbon piece called "There's a Garden in My Bargello."  Jeff has come up with two other color variations if you aren't into his green version, the threads for which Scarlet Thread has photographed to tempt you.

The shop also has new Bargello pieces from Carolyn Mitchell to tempt you.  It's an explosion of color and pattern, whichever design you like best.
