Stuck for a Background?

Suzanne Hicks is a pretty durn talented stitcher. She proves this all over again when she couldn't come up with a background for a small design of two drink glasses.  She went with a pastel plaid and it is just perfect!

Sorry, I don't know the designer of the cocktail glasses but Suzanne can probably tell you if you ask nicely.

The ColorScope

I'd never heard of a ColorScope until Michaele of Come to the Point mentioned them in her shop newsletter.   They are a color selection tool.  Look through this kaleidescope-like tool at the pile of threads you picked for that amazing counted canvaswork design and see how they work together.  (There are three photos of the tool here.  Click on Next to see them all.)

Michele has several in stock if you need help picking colors.
