Meredith Willet (she of M's Canvashouse and Elizabeth Turner Collection, the lady wears many hats and all look good on her) has been teaching at Bedecked and Beaddazzled in the Baltimore suburbs again. This time Meredith come up with multiple ideas for a canvas and everyone picked the option that suited them, then picked threads to make the choices their very own. Much fun ensued!

Meredith is very talented but when you throw in a huge thread selection and adventuresome students, things get really exciting.

Kreinik Color Selector
Kreinik has a new tool on their website--the Kreinik Color Selector. You can enter the thread name or number and see what it looks like. You can also sort the metallic threads other ways such as color family or find the shading order when you need a light-to-dark set of colors. It's a fun thing to play with and will be very useful, so I added it to the "Needlepoint Groups and Resources" section at the very very very bottom of Blog.
