TNNA News Trickles Out
TNNA news is starting to percolate through the Internet. Tapestry Tent is releasing two more Holiday March canvases in their series. You can read all about it at the CH Stitch Guides blog. I am writing this before that article publishes, so to read all about it, click on the magic carpet photo in the right hand column and you will be whisked away to that blog to read up on the latest series, for which both Amy and Michele are writing guides. I love it when stitchers have choices!
SharonG has created at least two small oriental carpet ornament designs, tiny and jewel-like and perfect for beading. She is now working on a larger canvas that shows a yellow cat peeking over a stone wall. The green eyes in the cat are amazing! If you have a Facebook account and belong to the Needlepoint Group, you can see her painting this canvas.
I'm finishing up my stitching for Leigh Designs. If you get your January/February Needlepoint Now before the TNNA show starts, you can see her newest series in an ad. I'm working the first in the series now but I can't show you anything until All Is Revealed at the show in Phoenix.
As more news leaks out, I'll let you know.

Bristly Thistle is having a Charley Harper trunk show now. If you are a fan of Charley Harper's animal artwork, you will enjoy checking out the designs to see if your favorite is included in the twenty percent off trunk show pricing. There's a link in the article below to the Bristly Thistle website where you can see all the designs they have in house in case you can't make a visit to the shop. You'll want to go there since the shop is also having a belt canvas sale. Any belt canvas (which can be converted into purse straps, hat bands, pet collars, or sandal straps, among other things) is half price! I believe both the trunk show and the belt sale is on the entire month of January but I'd still get moving to get the one you want before it's gone.

Way Too Cheerful About Snow!
Labels:

I don't like snow. It is a pain to shovel and there is always the danger factor of falls and traffic accidents in the air, not to mention the danger of power outages. This year whenever snow is in the weather report, I'm going to add the falling snowflake effect to Blog. You can then send waves of sympathy! LOL
However, not everyone hates snow. I remember when snow meant No School, can't you? Pocket Full of Stitches is memorializing those happy thoughts with a collection of the snowmen canvases they have in stock. Perhaps you need to stitch one of these the next time you have snow in your weather forecast....
