The Tulip Beading Awl

The Japanese company Tulip apparently has what they describe as beading awls. They look like regular awls for enlarging holes to me.  Carmen posted a photo of hers on Facebook.

If you have need of such a tool, they are not very expensive.  They also might make nice laying tools.  The handles come in various colors:  pink, mint green, navy, and gray.  They appear to be a bit over five inches long and Carmen says the handles are soft with a depressed area to make them easier to hold.
