Laura's husband built this stretcher bar storage system from three inch diameter PVC pipe for her. The pipes are all cut in six inch lengths and screwed in position, perhaps to the door, perhaps to the wooden strips attached to the door. Laura explains how this was done in some detail in the comments if you happen to be a handy tools person.
