Pocket Full of Stitches is posting new photos of painted canvases they've received from Amanda Lawford and Renaissance Designs. This is why I love needlepoint--check out the whimsy from Renaissance and the classic patterns from Amanda Lawford. There really is something for every taste when it comes to needlepoint design.

If painted designs don't float your boat, check out the new counted pieces that Scarlet Thread has in their shop. I don't know how Sara Leigh does it, but her photographs of charted models are always better than anyone else's!

Retro Bargello
Personally, bargello patterns do not ring my chimes but for some folks, they are the most fun thing one can stitch. Thanks to Donna and her daughter, I have a link to someone who not only loves bargello, she loves using it in retro furnishings. Now I won't go that far, but that elephant sure is charming....
