Another Winner, Another Book

Sandy Arthur has had a busy week! She's teaching at ANG's Seminar in New Orleans AND she just published a new booklet on stitching hair!

AND she just won ANG's Literary Award.  For the second time.  I am seriously impressed.  

Can Do Hairdos became available September 1st.  Sandy's been teaching a class on threads, stitches and techniques for stitching hair for a while now.  You can read the class description at the bottom of this class page on her website to get an idea of what's in the book.

Amy Bunger is already taking orders for Sandy's book through her online shop and Facebook.  She says the book is 32 pages and is small enough at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 to carry in your project bag or tote.

Santa Fe Felines: A New Mystery with a Twist UPDATED

Ruth Schmuff has announced hew upcoming Mystery with a Twist class--Laurel Burch's Santa Fe Cats.  The mystery with a twist is one of Ruth's mystery classes, but it is stretched out over a year or two so there's no pressure to finish. I'll update the links directly below as Ruth posts progress photos.  Even if you are not taking this mystery class, the progress reports are always interesting.

Doug's Summer Vacation

Doug Kreinik and his wife did a tour up the East Coast of the United States to North Carolina, visiting with shops as they went and eating all the local goodies they could find. It sounds like a blast!
