If you have been wishing you had signed up for the Cabinet of Curiosities class so you could study the history of 17th Century embroidered boxes and make your own 21st Century version, here is your chance. This class will be repeated starting May 1. I don't know if there will be a third session, so if you are interested, this is the time to act.

Goldwork Cyber Classes from Australia
Labels:
Alison Cole,

My favorite inspirational goldwork book is Alison Cole's All That Glitters, so you can imagine how excited I was to discover she does cyberclasses in her stumpwork and metal embroidery techniques!

If you aren't familiar with Alison's stitching, please explore her site. Her work is amazing.
By coincidence, Janet Granger is working one of Alison's kits. I had no idea you could order kits from Alison! Thanks for mentioning this, Janet, and especially for posting a nice photo of the kit contents!
