Gay Ann Rogers' Yearly Sales Begin

Fans of delicate and complex counted canvaswork should know that Gay Ann Rogers' annual sales of her charts, kits and samplers are about to begin. Tomorrow (October 5) the pre-sale sale starts.  The actual Annual E-Week Sale starts in a week from tomorrow.   Gay Ann will sell items from old classes and designs for new pieces from October 12 until the close of business on October 19.   During that Oct. 12-19 period, there will be special sales of items that are in limited supply starting at 8 a.m. California time on Saturday and Sunday, October 15-16, only.  These are for kits that use threads or beads that are no longer available.  Some details are on her website already but exactly what she will sell is a secret until the Pre-Sale or the actual E-Week and special Saturday/Sunday sales begin.

Orna's Needlepoint Beads UPDATED

Orna Willis can be counted on to do something different with her needlepoint designs. The colors are exotic, the geometric patterns complex but harmonious, and she has fascinating cyberclasses now and again. The newest class is needlepoint beads.

Beads?!?!, you ask?  Yes, beads.  Go look for yourself, particularly if you are interested in dimensional needlepoint or just want to try something different in wearable needlepoint.

There's more information on her website and her blog has photos of the beads made into jewelry.  How cool is that?
