Ada Hayden of Eye Candy is a really nice lady. Not only does she give Needlepoint Now magazine some free designs to publish, she adds great photos and additional information to her blog so that when you get your May-June issue and fall in love with Ada's Tropicana Cuff Bracelet, you can visit her blog for additional information and photos.

My copy hasn't come yet so I'll just stare at Ada's photos and dream of Tropicana and warmer weather....

Thanks to Anny, I discovered this Textile Conservation Studio video that digitally recreates a 400 year old tapestry. The tapestry is one of a series of tapestries from Hardwick Hall, home of Bess of Hardwick who stitched with Mary, Queen of Scots when Mary was confined at Bess's home by order of Queen Elizabeth I.

It is amazing how things change over 400 years!
