If you happen to be stitching a dark painted area on a painted canvas using dark threads, it can be very difficult to see the holes, much less your stitch's pattern. Fortunately, Needlepoint for Fun's newsletter has three great tips to enable you to see what goes where.

I've also heard that a red lap cloth works as well as a white one but I've never tested that.
