Ok, I was feeling silly when I wrote the title of this article. What I should have said is that Nimble Needle just announced two summer classes-- the first is an embellishment class by the master of embellishing and embossing canvases--SharonG. (She is a master of designing painting canvases, too, and will bring a trunk show for folks to enjoy). The second is a class just taught at the ANG Seminar in Philadelphia last fall--Susan Hoekstra's Ben's Kites. This is a line drawn canvas with each shape filled with pattern and colors inspired by the four seasons. The shapes are inspired by Philadelphia's most famous resident--Ben Franklin.

If you get to go, I expect a full report!

Sometimes the oldies are the goodies! Robin King takes a look at her bookshelf and discovered two different versions of Diane Schultz' Wonderful Stitches. Both are wonderful sources and if you are interested in a new book, Robin's provided page shots to get a sense of what's inside.
