Baking with Threads, Photoshop and Wire UPDATED WITH EVERYTHING

Robin King is talking about how she created the 3D Associated Talents cake canvas she stitched for a TNNA class later this month on the Needlepoint Study Hall blog. It's great fun to see a master baker at work!  Hopefully your shop owner(s) are going to take this class so they can pass along a slice of what they learn to you.

Another Stash Seller

There's a new eBay stash seller in town. Well, she's been around a while but since she just started advertising in Needlepoint Now, I just found out about her.  She doesn't list her eBay name so I don't know if I've been watching her selling or not.  I have not used her so proceed with caution.

Of course Fireside does stash sales on eBay, too.  They are quite active, listing new items each Saturday morning, and I've seen some great bargains.

Ritual Objects and Creative Rituals

To many of us, needlepoint is much more than a way to relax.  My beloved godmother used needlepoint to keep busy and serene during cancer treatments for her bone cancer.  I use needlepoint to focus my creative energy and to reach out from my rather isolated location to others with similar interests.  These folks use needlepoint and other needle arts to celebrate their religion when they create ritual objects or celebrate a life cut short.

No matter why you stitch, it's an important part of all our days.  Else you wouldn't be here visiting Blog.  Many hugs to you all, fellow travelers on the NP Path!
