Barbara Bergsten's colorful designs are perfect for beginning stitchers. Two different shops are offering beginner classes using her canvases. In Stitches (Atlanta) is using one of Barbara's samplers,

...while Po's Point is offering a kid's camp for a week using Barbara's complex palm tree as a learning tool. The beauty of Barbara's canvases is that more advanced stitchers can have just as much fun as a beginner with them. which means you can take a friend to class and both enjoy stitching away.
