The latest shop newsletter from Quail Run is online, ready for viewing. This month's issue is particularly heavy on great finishing. There are lists of classes and special events as well as a sneak peak at a new series called Vintage Blue from Quail Run Designs (the distributor instead of the shop).

Speaking of new series, Ruth Schmuff has snuck several new designs from Sandra Vargas onto her website. Like witches or geishas or just plain fun monsters? You'll see them all at the top of her "What's New" page.

Snap Trays, Big and Little

snap trays
If you like a little catch all to keep your scissors, spools of threads, needle package, etc. handy but tidy, then a snap tray might be just the thing for you. I admit I have one that I don't use because it is so pretty, I don't want dog hair all over it. You can get them in vinyl, though. That would be very easy to clean...

Snap trays also come in a small size with a magnet to corral those pesky beads. Here are pictures and a review, courtesy of Nimble Needle.
