I was wrong--Woodlawn is going to have their needlework exhibit this year after all. They just need to push it back so that the renovations are finished. Details here.

Have Threads, Will Party
Labels:

Orna Willis
Orna Willis has started selling needlework parties in a box. She calls these "Gatherings" which I think a great name for a wonderful concept. She's added a second set to her website, this one appropriate for a group of six who have either no needle experience or only a tiny bit of it. I know several mothers who gather their kids and their kids' friends together for a crafting party so I'll be mentioning this to them. After all, there is no supply gathering needed and no glue to clean up afterwards! This is also suitable for a guild project in a school, or even a fun evening with your non-stitching friends.
