Halloween is coming soon and you know what is essential to a good scare? A haunted house!
The House on Crow Corner from Laura Perin (designer is Vicky Hastings/Cricket Collectioin of Dreamhouse Ventures) is shown above. Isn't using beads for autumn leaves clever? More information about how this was stitched and finished at Ms. Perin's blog.

Apparently this is available as a XS chart also from Cricket Collection. The chart is called Three Gables.

These are all amazing!
And they look like fun as they are all a mix of realism and fantasy. Perfect for next Halloween's stitching!
Oh, Jane, you are a danger to me! I just ordered the McCaskill on behalf of myself and Linda...just could not resist!
I hope you have fun with it. David is a very clever designer!
Oh, it is next to impossible not to fall in love with this house. I just love it.
Do you happen to know if the design comes with a stitch guide?
Pierrette =^..^=
Pierrette, I don't think there is a stitch guide but Laura's photos are so good, I think you could work out what she did in most places. Study the photos and see what you think, then read the text. There are all kinds of hints, there, from the use of metallics to the beads she used for leaves and the cat button or charm she added. You can do this! HONEST.
