If you want to learn how to create naturalistic plants and animals with needle painting, Trish Burr is the teacher to learn from. Unfortunately for us, Trish lives in South Africa, but fortunately she has a DVD available to show us how needle painting is done. And now there is a little snippet of the DVD available to see online. Just a taste but it'll make you want more, guaranteed!

By the way, do explore Trish's website. You are going to be astounded at the beautiful stitching you see there.

More wonderful ideas for stash enhancement, love todays canvas, from Sheena, currnntly reading blogs in a hospital bed.
Sheena, honey! I hope you are ok! Hospital visits are no fun (we did it over the 4th when Beloved managed to fall off the tractor and get trapped by the rear wheel). I'll be thinking about you and hoping you are home and better real soon.
The canvas charming Sheena is this view of Wakiki. It's a honey, isn't it?

Trish Burr lives in South Africa near Cape Town. She was the guest speaker at our AGM a couple of years ago. Her work is more beautiful in real life!
I remember being sick with jealousy when you got to take that class, Odette! Hard to believe her pieces are more beautiful in person as they are stunning in Internet photos.
