Autumn is in the Air

Fall is in the air here in Chilly Hollow. A few leaves are falling and one huge oak has started dropping acorns. This is the tree the deer and wild turkeys fought over two years ago. Last year it was the tree in the middle of the driveway but that one hasn't lost any acorns yet. It's funny how there is always one tree that becomes a territorial struggle between birds and mammals each year, and it is never the same one.

I've seen other signs of autumn as well.  Here's the nicest one.
