I love seeing embroideries from different times and places. They showcase for me how much we needle folk have in common and how much we differ. I thought you'd like to see the Vietnamese embroidery that Hannah stumbled upon in Houston.

  1. Question about the Witch Cracker, trying to figure out the top and bottom border. Are those
    oval orange beads? Read the stitch guide several times, but couldn't figure it out.

  2. Yes, it looks like the beads are ovals with a hole in one end. These are called rizo beads I think. This looks like the ones Palma used
