The Gift

Renee Frank of Pepita and Gone Stitching showed off a very special gift from a bride to her groom this morning.  I find especially touching that the canvas was a graduation present from the bride's grandmother.  What a wonderful statement of family and commitment this is!

I had to look up the religious significance of the afikomen.  It's a lovely tradition that finishes the Passover meal with the help of the children present.  Here's hoping this bride and her groom have many children to help them use her stitching over the years to come!
